Masquerade

Hi there

My DT project this week for Crafting from the Heart uses this lovely sophisticated image from Aurora Wings. I've coloured the image with promarkers and then taken it into serif to layer it with a background. I've reduced the transparency of the image to blend it with the background paper and then overlayed it with glitter and a photo real gemstone

Who doesn't love the magic of a masquerade!

Aurora Wings - New Christmas Sprites

Hi there

How cute is this little sprite! She's called Amaryllis Sprite and she's one of the new set being launched today and available as part of a mini colouring book... I've coloured her with promarkers and made a digital collage but she'd look as lovely on a card or xmas gift bag.

Pre order of the whole Christmas Sprite collection is available via the Aurora Wings website here

To see examples of projects using the other new Christmas sprites, go to the Aurora Wings Showcase blog and keep an eye out for new digi discount codes... there are normally some available on the weekends and I'll update this post once the latest ones are available

Great news, all AW holiday sprites are on sale at the moment and for this weekend use the code HOLIDAY20 for 20% off purchases of $10 or more at the AW Etsy shop! Stock up! :)

Hello Kitty

Hi there

How adorable is this image from Bugaboo?! I haven't done any monochrome colouring for a long time so for my Crafty Girls DT project this week, decided to colour it up with only grey promarkers. The backgound and embellishments are pulled together in serif
