AW new digi launch

Hi there

 Its a new launch at Aurora Wings with two gorgeous ethereal images and a cute xmas image.

 I decided to use this lovely lady rose image for my card and coloured it in soft promarker shades. I went with a soft pastel background paper and matched her dress to it. Its very simple but I loved this image and wanted to keep it the focal point of the card

New AW Sprites

Hi there

Another new launch at Aurora Wings today with a few gorgeous sprites! I chose to work with this maple sprite image as the weather is just starting to turn here and it reminded me of autumnal leaves.

I've coloured it with promarkers and mounted onto a background coloured with distress inks.

AW New Launch

Hi there

 New digis launched today at Aurora Wings. I chose to colour this image of angels wings and skulls which to be honest is not the normal type of image that I would choose, however I did like the mixture of feathers and roses in this. I decided to use colour pencils to colour this image and to keep the colour palette quite muted.


There are also some sprites in the images launched today so be sure to look at the showcase designers blog for a sneak peak and some more inspiration.

New Aurora Wings Digis

Hi there

 A mega launch of new digi stamps at Aurora Wings today! I've played with two below but be sure to check out the rest as they are fab!

 This image is called Remembrance. I chose to colour it in soft shades to match a book I had with a clear window. The image is coloured with promarkers and I think peeled back the inside cover and inserted the image in the spiral bound book. You can get these books at inexpensive stationers so lots of opportunity to make customised gifts.



 This image is called Humming Bird sprite. I printed it quite small as I wanted to use it on this wooden book mark. The image is coloured with promarkers and fussy cut (although given the size that did get tricky!).

Aurora Wings - New Flower Sprites Launch

Hi there

 Some more cute flower sprites launching at Aurora Wings today! I've made my project with this lovely Forget me Not image and thought I'd go with a seed packet. I'm actually thinking of making a set with a couple of other flower sprites as a present for a flower lover.

 The image has been coloured with promarkers and the "seed packet" made from two pieces of 6 x 6 patterned paper. Very simple to batch make too if you need to make several presents in one go!

Aurora Wings - Mermaid New Launch

Hi there,

 There is a new launch at Aurora Wings today! This fantastic mermaid is one of them but there are also a couple of very cute summer sprites available (on a 2 for 1 deal until April 18th!).

 For my card, I coloured the mermaid with promarkers and fussy cut it. I wanted something quite simple this time to make the image stand out so I used a script stamp on the base of the card. I then cut out a wave template from some scrap card and used three shades of distress inks to create "waves"

Mega Showcase - New Launches at Aurora Wings

Hi there

 It's a triple launch at Aurora Wings this week with some gorgeous sprites!

 I only had time to play with these two but make sure to check out the third new sprite over at the Aurora Wings showcase blog too!

 I decided to make a couple of gift card holders with these images. Both have been coloured with promarkers and fussy cut. I then took a sheet of A4 card and cut it in half along the length, and folded each into three parts to make the base and added a flap to one section. I then covered each surface was with patterned paper - this make is a great way to use up all those scraps which us hoarders have!
