Hi there

The theme this month as crafting cafe is Clean & Simple and this is my DT inspiration card using the seahorse image from LEJ designs.

I've embossed a panel with a retro circle embossing folder and cut a circle in it. I've then used distressed ink to colour some tissue paper and ripped it into strips to look like seaweed. The seahorse has been coloured with various shades of blue promarkers

Cute Cat

Hi there

The challenge at Crafting from the Heart this week is anything goes with optional spots & stripes. Oakpond is one of the sponsors and I've used their cat digi for my DT inspiration card. I've kept it quite simple as the image is just so cute.

It's been finished with spellbinders dies and the background has been created using a swiss dots embossing folder, dusted with spun sugar distress ink. I had a little scrap of paper with stripes on it in co-ordinating colours which I added and then finish by cutting the edges with corner rounder scissors.

Hi there

Its anything goes again at 4 Crafty Girls and this is my DT inspiration card. I love this background paper and based the promarkers used to colour the image on it finishing it with some scalloped trim and a little sentiment. I always have trouble with cards for men but this is one which could be used for anyone

Spring Showers

Hi there

My DT project for Whoopsi Daisy this week is a tag - the challenge theme being "Make or add a tag".

I've been experimenting with Serif again so this is a digital project. I have to admit I love this software, its so easy to create so many effect :)

Hi there

Sassy Studios is one of the sponsors at Crafting from the Heart this week and this is my DT inspiration card using one of their fab images.

I wanted to keep this simple so have limited it to two colours that I like using together. The image has been coloured with promarkers and mounted onto textured backing paper with a simple sentiment to finish.

Too Cool

Hi there

Its anything goes at 4KraftyGirls and one of the sponsors is Eureka. This is my DT inspiration card using one of their images. Its a great image and made me think of a cool teenager hence the sentiment. The background is a piece of wallpaper of all things but I liked the whole london theme and red/grey colours with this image.

Flower Fairy

Hi there

The theme this week at Whoopsi Daisy is "Lots of Flowers" and this is my DT inspiration card. The shaped ard base has been dusted with Distress Ink (tumbled glass, antque linen, chipped shappire) and the image has been coloured with promarkers.
I used some handmade paper to make the branches and cut the glazed flowers from some designer paper
