I'm still in my colouring pencil phase so that's the medium I've gone with. I may need to put all these into a little birthday book project when I get the time!

New AW Digis

Another fantastic digi launch at Aurora wings today. I love these ethereal images. I decided to colour this Gemini Abundance Twins image with colour pencils and rather than identical twin images I liked the idea of opposites/two sides of the same coin, so I went with cool colours vs warm colours across the image.

AW Zodiac Sprites

It has been a long time since my last post! How great to have these fab new sprites to colour though :)
This is the second batch of zodiac sprites from the talented Mitzi and they are super cute

I chose to colour both using colouring pencils as I haven't used this medium in such a long time. I like the soft quality to the shades. I love seeing the characteristic of zodiac signs so decided to go with a simple plaque style for today.

New AW Sprite Launch

It feels like a age since I last crafted.... maybe because it literally has been a few months! Where has the beginning of this year gone?! 

Still, the nice thing about winter passing quickly is the sun is out today and looks to stay for the week, yay! Perfect for these spring time sprite launches from Aurora Wings which I have coloured with Promarkers and made into a little card

AW new digi launch

Its a new launch at Aurora Wings with two gorgeous ethereal images and a cute xmas image.

I decided to use this lovely lady rose image for my card and coloured it in soft promarker shades. I went with a soft pastel background paper and matched her dress to it. Its very simple but I loved this image and wanted to keep it the focal point of the card

New AW Sprites

Hi there

Another new launch at Aurora Wings today with a few gorgeous sprites! I chose to work with this maple sprite image as the weather is just starting to turn here and it reminded me of autumnal leaves.

I've coloured it with promarkers and mounted onto a background coloured with distress inks.

AW New Launch

New digis launched today at Aurora Wings. I chose to colour this image of angels wings and skulls which to be honest is not the normal type of image that I would choose, however I did like the mixture of feathers and roses in this. I decided to use colour pencils to colour this image and to keep the colour palette quite muted.
