Flapper

Hi there

Rick St Dennis is one of the sponsors this week at 4 krafty girlz. This is the first time I've used one of his images but I love it - it's could be used for so many occasions and is so very 20's. I found some paper that I thought looked quite deco and while I liked the black and white, I wanted a pop of colour so decided to add a hot pink to the mix. To tie in with the boa, I added a little feather to the sentiment.

Little bit fishy

Hi there

This is my DT card for Crafting Cafe. The theme this month is "creatures" and I loved this cute fish from Oakpond.
I created the background by using green and blue distress inks on bubble wrap to make a mottled sea design. The image has been coloured with promarkers and the eyes finished with glossy accents

The theme this week at Whoopsi Daisy is "lots of layers" and for my DT project I've interpreted this as lots of digital layers. The precoloured image has been overlayed 5 times in serif and placed on a lace background.

Braid In My Hair

Hi there

A day for daisies is one of the sponsors this week at crafting from the heart and I've used the fabulous "braid in my hair" image for my DT inspiration card. I've coloured it with promarkers and cut it with a spellbinders die. The colours are all selected from the background paper.

Flower Skirt

Hi there

A day for daisies is one of the sponsors this week at 4 krafty girlz. I love their images especially these feminine ones. I decided to use a shaped card for my DT inspiration card and wanted the image to be the focal point.

I've coloured the digi with promarkers and have extended the length of the skirt with a fine liner pen so that it fits with the bottom of the card. The image has been mounted to the background paper with silicone to give a bit of depth.

Orchid Fairy

Hi there

Aurora Wings is one of the sponsors at 4 krafty girlz this week and I've used the fabulous Orchid Fairy image for my DT inspiration card. I don't normally use yellow in my cards, but for some reason this was just calling to be coloured in purple and yellow. It's been coloured with promarkers and finished with a little touch of perfect pearls on the wings and earrings
