Its an embossing challenge at Crafting Cafe this month and this is my DT inspiration card. I made this for a friend who is pregnant and thought the calender would make a cute little countdown card.

The background has been dry embossed and the image from Saturated Canary has been coloured with promarkers

Yay!! I am now part of the Crafting Cafe Design Team and am really looking forward to working with the other designers and sharing my ideas with you!

This is my DT project for the Crafting Cafe December Challenge using one of the challenge sketches. I generally design on 5 x 5 or 6 x 6 card so this was a nice change for me and I thought the image from Saturated Canary worked perfectly with it.

Hi there

I made this as a seasonal card for someone who has recently been through chemo. I love the image, a Little Darlings Rubber Stamp coloured using promarkers, and the sentiment which I put together using MS Word. The "ribbon" is my DIY embellishment made from a scrap of patterned paper.

Every Girl Needs a Red Dress

I love black red and white as a combinaton. I had a few left over backround papers in shades of black, grey and white which I thought worked well together to make a contrast background to this lovely impage from Saturated Canary.

I'm practicing different coloured hair at the moment and think so far brunnett hair is winning!

Cinderella

"Cinderella - proof that a new pair of shoes can change your life!" - lol, what a fab sentiment and ideal for this image from saturated canary.

This is such a lovely image from Saturated Canary  - aptly named "lovely"
Its also really versitile and was crying out to be part of a "film strip"

With Attitude

I recently bought serif software and thought I'd have a little play to learn my way around it.
The main image is from Saturated Canary, the background is the result of my experiment playing with serif

Playing with Pastels

I tend to stick to the same colours in my cards and yellow is a colour I hardly ever use. Thought I would try something different and this is the result.
