Is it here yet?

Hi there

Its an embossing challenge at Crafting Cafe this month and this is my DT inspiration card. I made this for a friend who is pregnant and thought the calender would make a cute little countdown card.

The background has been dry embossed and the image from Saturated Canary has been coloured with promarkers

Baby Girl Blessings

Hi there

The challenge this week at Whoopsi Daisy is "monochromatic" so I decided to use shades of pink. This image is from sheet 502  and the little girl is so cute asleep on the pillow! Its been finshed with spellbinders dies and a mini doily.

Zentangle Dress

Hi there

It's another anything goes challenge over at Crafty Girls and this is my DT inspiration card using a gorgeous image from Milk Coffee.

I love the idea of a zentangle dress and wanted the whole card to focus on the black and white design so have kept it quite simple with only a little pop of any other colour.

Dance for Joy

Hi there

Its anything goes using flowers over at Crafting from the Heart and this is my DT inspiration card. The image is from Aurora Wings and is so pretty I wanted to have quite a simple card so the focus would be the dancer.

As a personal challenge I decided to use colours that I don't normally go for -namely yellow. For some reason, this is the always the colour I reach for least from my paper stash - I have no idea why because on the odd occasion I do use it, I normally like the results. I've coloured the image with promarkers and finished with spots of holographic glitter and little flower daisies on the corners.

Well Done

Hi there

The challenge theme this week at Whoopsi Daisy is "use a sentiment" and this is my DT inspiration card. Black, White and Red is my favorite colour combination and I wanted to go with a CAS look for this card

Poppy Fairy

Hi there

It's anything goes at Crafty Girls and this is my DT card using a stunning image from Aurora Wings.

I've used promarkers on the image and as a personal challenge limited myself to only 6 colours (Blush, Soft Peach, Tan, Putty, Cocco, Poppy). I must have spent about 4 hours colouring this in the end and wanted the image to be the focal point so have only added a few die cut florishes (marianne's I think) in co-ordinating colours to finish the card

Love Birds

Hi there,

Its a love/valentine challenge at Whoopsi Daisy this week and this is my DT inspiration card. I've only recently tried watercolour and am still experimenting but love the softness of the colours.

I decided to go with a vintage feel with the doily, pearls and handmade background paper.

Love Hearts

Hi there

Yay! I am now part of the Crafting from the Heart design team! This is my first DT card using a Dilly Beans image

I know most people say Red and Pink don't work together but I kind of like them. The image is so cute I wanted to keep this simple and thought the frame in a frame effect suited it.
